The report "Actions Taken in the Field of Policy for Skills Development and Cooperation in This Area in the Greater Poland Voivodeship: Higher Education" is the result of an analysis and study of a key link for the development of lifelong education—universities and higher education institutions operating in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
The aim of the study was to gather detailed information about the activities of universities and higher education institutions in the region, their role in implementing the Integrated Skills Strategy 2030, and their functioning within the region. The study included, among others:
- actions taken to develop and increase the quality and attractiveness of higher education,
- actions for the development of science,
- cooperation undertaken by Greater Poland's universities and higher education institutions with other entities,
- actions aimed at preparing students to enter the labor market,
- the interest of young people in higher education.
As part of the study, the following were carried out:
- desk research, including the analysis of websites and statutes and strategies of universities,
- quantitative survey among representatives of Academic Career Offices (13 questionnaires) and faculties of Greater Poland's universities and higher education institutions (54 questionnaires),
- quantitative survey of high school graduates: 1,667 interviews with general high school students and 1,633 with technical school students,
- 43 individual in-depth interviews with representatives of entities involved in the functioning of universities in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, such as industry organizations and employers' associations, city offices in cities where universities operate, institutions involved in the development of science and higher education, and secondary schools.
